I thought Jeff Jackson might have been a good hiring, but firing Woodcroft and putting Coffey on the bench? Un f’ng believable. Now watch them mortgage their remaining future to get another meh goalie and get rid of Campbells contract.
Good job Oilers management… You completely screwed over our team this year, with knee-jerk reactions, and now the decade of darkness part 2 can start in earnest… Once we lose McD and Drai, among other aging players and expiring contracts, we're funked for a good long while, if not indefinitely.
Let’s bring in Glen Anderson and Mark Messier to fill out the coaching staff with all their vast coaching experience. F’ng old boys club mentality in this organization makes me want to puke.
Not just confidence is lacking. They're lacking patience and discipline. I get that the players feel they need to win. It's the reason they feel they need to force plays when they are down goals. It's the reason they get deflated when they get scored on. If and when they buy into Knoblauch's systems, they will become that team that can shut it down defensively. They just gotta stop putting so much pressure on themselves to win.
Holland’s to busy kissing Connor’s *ss, rather than bolstering Edmonton’s obvious defensive/goaltending issues…ownership’s likely behind some of this, knowing Connor will likely want O U T ‼️
40+ years as an Oiler fan, behind this realistic statement…dropping my fanboy dreams when #99 was traded, eons ago.

At 5-11, the season is over. Just like Vegas a couple seasons ago. Sometimes good teams just have off years.
