  1. Was a soft penalty shot call as he still got his shot away. Seems like they are calling them this way more than other years.

  2. If the defencemen would of swiped the puck before the trip, by rule it would be no penalty.

  3. Good call. He had the choice to let McDavid take his shot against Bob and maybe get it in, try to catch up and get the puck away, or trip him up and knowingly interfere with the play and risk a penalty since he couldnโ€™t catch up to him on skates. He chose poorly. McDavid had no idea heโ€™d get a penalty shot so he risked taking a shot instead of trying to slow his momentum into the boards more. The only thing surprising is calling a clear penalty on the Panthers.
