The match was enough. Dumb play don’t do it again

  2. Hog probably should have got a game or two if we want slew foots to be taken out of hockey.

Still pissed the refs didn’t call it “slew footing” instead of “intent to injure.” The Jamie Benn cross-check to the neck on Stone on the ground in the playoffs was called and named correctly, and even that was 100x more worthy of the term “intent to injure.”

probably because he’s not a repeated offender

    First time offender benefit.

Hopefully Tocchet isn’t too livid with Hoggy and keeps him in the line-up. He was just starting to claw his way back into a regular spot too…

Glad there was no suspension, it clearly wasn’t malicious in nature but Hogs gotta be careful goin forward and control his shit

Ahh DOPS, “we punish you based on if the other guy was injured not based on premeditation”

This has been coming for a while now for Hogz. He’s been a sneaky guy at the dirty work in the game.

Coulda been a whole lot worse than a fine…

Feels right in this case. Also puts him as a repeat offender next time which seems fair. If he does it again, it’s a pattern and absolutely deserves suspension

Honestly I would have been fine with 1-2 games for Hoglander.

    I don’t see intent, but it’s a dangerous play.
