[CanadiensMTL] Defenseman Jordan Harris will be out indefinitely with a lower-body injury. He will leave the team today to undergo further testing and a thorough evaluation of his condition. The team will recall a player later today.

This is why we have depth tbh. Harris has been good but not great this year — not opposed to seeing what Struble/Mailloux/etc. can do, even if the circumstances are frustrating.

Dropping like flies, Dach, Savard, RHP, Xhekaj and now Harris. Not to mention Matheson, Guhle being out earlier. Hate to say it but Monahan’s also a ticking time bomb. How are we supposed to compete when our core guys (apart from Suzuki) are made of glass?

Not the end of the world for now but dammit when the rebuild will be over are we gonna get fucked by injuries all the time? The cycle is infinite.

I thought we had new training staff that would fox this

  5. Damn, even once we do reach the point of competing for a playoff spot consistently, I can’t fully trust us to have a healthy enough lineup to do so.

  6. He wasn’t playing great so maybe this has something to do with it.

    Regardless, FUCK.

The wording on this is so strange, I have suspicions his season might be over

  8. The Habs are the USS William D Porter of professional sports.

  9. Habs can still dress 6 defensemen with Matheson, Barron, Guhle, Kovacevic, Struble and Lindstrom. Whoever they call up is probably just an insurance policy for the two afternoon games Friday and Saturday.
