The Sharks were picking on Meyers, knowing that he might be easy pickings. They wanted to win.
I think the slew foot was intentional, Höglander got a bit of a mean streak in him. He got suspended in the SHL for a wicked elbow before coming to Vancouver.

The only major negative in this game for Vancouver was their special teams. Both their PP and PK have been bad of late and after snapping a 2 game losing streak, they’ll want to change that or it will hurt them going forward. Losing Soucy doesn’t help either.
Feel good win, and something to build on. Now the challenge is on Wednesday against the Avs.
