Oilers don't deserve a goalie as good as Halak
Halak, out of all of the still unsigned and willing to play goalies, is still the best in the free agents list and at this point there's nothing left to lose for EDM. Halak has a .918 GAA in his whole career, he wasn't just good with Boston, he won freaking trophies with St-Louis…where ahem, the other "good", not for EDM, but for a team looking for a replacement backup on the fly, Brian Elliott was his 1B for a few years (or the opposite). Sign Halak for 950k, it's not more ridiculous than signing Sam Gagner, who was also a guy in the free agents list I thought should be given a chance somewhere, although somewhere he hadn't already been…

At this point… Edmonton's gotta do everything possible. Heck I'd even sign a Goalie from Europe @ this point!! As a GM… I would've already sacrificed Nuge & a 1st for a Goalie!!! If Draisaitl leave… they might be done & done for real!!
