Pazzy Appreciation Post

Listen to this post game conference, especially the stuff about Laine and the stuff about change and his vision for the club. Our record sucks rn, but we have a real one here, imo. I don’t remember ever having a Coach talk about coaching as much as he does. It’s one of the only positives we have now.

I would fight prime Zdeno Chara for this man.

Love Pazzy. Hope him and the boys can pull one out tonight

don’t care until the team looks better on the ice. defensive system sucks and PP is a joke

Pazzy is not, and has not, been the problem. I’d like to see how any of you do after getting thrown into a job with three days prep time.

Our record sucks because our coach sucks. EVERYONE on this team has regressed since last year. That is unacceptable

He’s response about embarrassing Laine was literally “he needs to be a man”

Fuck off with that. Tired of this guy and it’s only been a month.

  7. I’m withholding judgement, but I’m not sure how anyone can get very excited about him as a coach yet given our results. He has an inarguably better team than Larsen did, and his results so far are worse than Larsens ever were. I hope he turns it around, and it’s not all on him, but so far, I’m not particularly impressed with the results. He’s eloquent and articulate, and we knew that much based on what Jarmo said about him when he was 2nd choice in both previous coaching searches, but until that translates to results, it really doesn’t matter

I wasn’t on board with Larsen, I wasn’t on board with Babs, and I had so many doubts with Vincent, but I said I would give him a chance. We are almost 20 games in and the product on the ice isn’t getting results on the scoreboard. With that being said, I like what I see. Outside of maybe one or two games this year, this team has competed hard and has been in every game. And every time Vincent steps to the mic, I am 100% on board with what he has to say. I love his approach and I like what he is trying to build here in Columbus. It is a process that doesn’t happen over night. I will sacrifice the occasional win now, for consistent winning in the future. This sub needs to learn patience over immediate gratification.

My prediction is that five years from now that Vincent will still be the coach, and the first half of this season will be a memory that we all look back at and laugh.

Idk enough about the Xs and Os of hockey to know how good of a coach he actually is. But I’m here for his ego-checking players when the results have been dog shit. If only he had the power to healthy scratch Jarmo.
