And this was the most winnable game of the next like 5… well shit
Ugh.
[mfw throwing the puck](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D8jX6KlVUAAaEhr?format=jpg&name=large)
Well that game went south right quick in the 3rd
The Flames were murdered tonight
I accuse:
Col. Mustard
With the blind ref
In the arena
Not saying we we’re good enough to win, but that 3rd Nashville goal shouldn’t have counted, lol.
Flames deserve to lose that one. Basically just 60 consecutive minutes of Markstrom getting shelled.
Missed penalty aside they didn’t play good enough and didn’t deserve to win
Came for a hockey game
Got a handball game instead.
Classic Trashville playing “All I Do Is Win” post-game while they sit 26th in the league.
We didn’t deserve the win. But we were close… until they changed the rules mid game making it 3-1. Then we were completely deflated.
We got DUNKED ON by the Preds. Literally.
The boys did not show up ready to play. Every single one of them was sluggish at puck drop. Giveaways were way to high this game.
Was hoping for a better game against Nashville. The weegs stick toss made watching the first 58min worth it.
Saw some good looks and 4 posts can really hurt but man was that a luke warm effort at best. Too many passengers tonight.
Im new to hockey and the flames but ive been noticing the refs often just flat out make the strangest decisions against us, I started to think “nah its probably just me”……..but my jaw is still on the floor.
How was that a goal?…..im speechless. The guy literally closed his hand on the puck and TOSSED IT INTO THE GOALIES CREASE FROM BEHIND THE NET.
Like…..this is actually making me become suspect that the refs are actually bought and paid for.
Poop! You poopmouth, with poop out of your mouth!
That game was a son of a bitch.
In multiple areas.
Onto the next.
Yegor’s goal was a beaut. I hope we keep him around
Well we got shafted pretty hard but at least Edmonton lost again lol
If I was a flames player after that third period hand ball, next play I woulda just picked up the puck skated through all the whistles and thrown it into the Pred’s net.
That along with 10 million other actual, legitimate reasons are why I will never play in the NHL 😂
Didn’t deserve the win but damn that refing was a joke…
Why is our power play worse than our 5 on 5… I don’t get how a team can get so little shots when up a man. Not the reason for the lose, but they need to figure it out if they want to win. Like early power play and no shots on net?
Weird non-hockey question: did anyone else get a weird sound on the Sportsnet broadcast, like a fluctuating car alarm? Or was i just having a stroke?
Between Yegors goal, Forsberg playing handball, and Weegs deciding to play pond hockey with the stick toss at least it was entertaining
What about the power play??
A heap of posts, one puck going in a less than second after the period ends, and a shit call by the refs.
I’ve seen worse. On to the next.
Our PP is 26th in the league but it’s actually way worse than that because we are also leading the league in shorties given up. This team’s PP has to be one of the worst in history.
How could a team on a 1 man advantage be so Fn bad for multiple years in a row, with coaching AND player turnover during that span?
Markstrom looked really good, which is a great news for his trade value I guess.
Otherwise, this team desperately needs elite talent up front. Zary’s absence was noticeable.
Trades now, please.
Why wasn’t Lauzon given a match penalty for the slew foot trip on Pospisil? He clearly uses his leg to trip him from behind. Like, was it two nights ago hoglander was given a match?
The officiating in the nhl is absolutely atrocious. It’s humiliatingly bad. There is absolutely no way there aren’t better refs out there, the only explanations are corruption or incompetence at the top.
The most “offense” produced all night was how offended I got watching us try to generate scoring chances. Don’t even get me started on the powerplay…
They had some good jump at times but overall boys seemed very sloppy and lazy. It wasn’t the worst loss but still 1000% better than any of our losses from last season when they were deflated the second adversity hit them.
Excited for the Dallas game, they’re always a blast and a good opportunity to pump players trade values. GFG!
