I think he gives bonuses for the shot attempt farthest from the crease. Hereâs the âsystemâ: Are you deep in the corner at the point? Take the shot. Are you right in front of the goalie? Pass it to the defense.

Can a coach decline power plays? I honestly don’t know if a coach has ever tried to. Like, what would the refs say is Sullivan was like “No. Don’t want it.” Their power play is so bad that it actively sucks momentum away from them.
