Interesting

Also leads in penalties drawn, second in blocks and second in fewest giveaways. Might have been slightly different if he had played in every game, but regardless the underlying numbers proves that he is very effective at 5v5 when he plays. What also is missing at the stat sheet is the amount of chances he has created for others which they have failed to capitalize on, there has been quite a few.

I’m not going to go into a deep rant as to why I feel like the treatment he has been getting this season is not justified, but rather let the numbers speak for themselves. Doing this to a prospect during a rebuild is the wrong move and will definitely come back to haunt them at a later date.

Sad. Torts has made up his mind on Frost, and it’s just not gonna work out here. We need some help at center too. It’s ridiculous that Frost is wasting away in the seats.

  2. Numbers can’t speak for themselves. They can be interpreted in many ways and also twisted to suit a narrative. Frost is a talented albeit a soft tweener. I understand the infatuation with the skillset but he simply lacks the drive, desire and hunger to be a top-end player. The amount of energy that stat nerds whine about him is silly but also quite humorous.

I get that Noah Cates is a defensive forward first, but he has been an offensive dud all season so far.
