I don't think the Cats played poorly. One of the areas they should be working on is SHOT ACCURACY. Some sort of drill where they have to quickly shoot at a very small target in the net. Maybe a small opening that is moving. Leading in 'shot attempts' or SOG doesn't win games. Luostarinen needs to use a wider stance and get down lower when he is in the slot. That is why he loses balance easily when he is hit. Notice what Evans-Rodriquez and Chucky do. They are often hunched over a bit, making themselves a smaller target, and adopting a wider, sturdier stance.
So I'm watching the review and we're at the part talking about the Patrick Kane trade so I have rethought my line combos and I do agree with Eric Kane Barkley and Reinhardt would be a dominating first line move Rodriguez with Lundy and Lou…. what do you think eric?
This team can not score. Plain and Simple. Kane will not solve this. Need a pure goal scorer in his prime.
Defence was awful: Montour has no idea what world he's in, Ekblad- usual Ekplant, Forsling looks like a fool, Mikkola was fine, Kulikov and OEL performed a clown show. OEl -3 . 2nd goal was Kulikov's mistake in the ozone, that lead to a catastrophic total collapse in dzone -They were obviously going to score on that one – panthers in chaos mode. 3rd goal Kulikov and OEL both behind the net . What's is this?
Overall, Boston pulled Vegas yesterday – weren't spooked by bullying, and played a hockey game, and won. MAURICE lost coaching battle in the third. NO snipers on the team is an ultimate problem. Verhaeghe is insufferable to watch.
Agree they showed too much bruin dads,its kinda disrespectful to the panthers in their house. Let down by the effort in the 2nd and 3rd. McAvoy is a pos, tripped chucky into ulmark. No positive puck luck, they'll be fine. But the jets may beat them Friday and Kane be there after???
Bruins fans trolling hard cause we made their captain cry and we ended 37 and 16's career. In TD Garden. In OT, game 7. We made them historic choke artists. And yes Jaws was right, goaltending was the difference. Love Bob but I do think hes slowing down this year a bit. He routinely lets in 3 goals and if we can't score 4 a game that's going to be tough to win.
