Sounds like something cracked when he landed

Vicious? Feel bad for the guy, but that was slo mo hit

  3. Haha…. well that brightened my day. Better luck next time.

  4. DexterGexter

Where’s the intent to injure? Clearly a hack job

  5. This is the kind of hit you see during the Legends games.

“And here’s Scoot McKracken, the fearsome enforcer when he was with the Thunder Bay Prospectors back in ’48. Looks like he’s barreling in on an unsuspecting Norm Naslund with thoughts of knocking him into the Baraboo Bumblebee bench. Oh jeez… Oh jeez. I think he broke a hip.”

  6. Brutal! He should be back just in time for playoffs though.

  7. All the avalanche guy did was brace himself for the hit
    This isn’t a “reverse hit “
Imo a real “ reverse hit” should be an interference penalty, 90% of the time
For hitting a guy without the puck

    He is an idiot

He ran into a person not even in the play (and worse standing by boards) AND he got injured (???)

That should be a penalty as well since no puck anywhere in play and its dangerous

Bettman needs to step in. There’s no room in the game for this

How is that a reverse hit? I thought that was when a guy has his back to an attacking player and hits him with his back. This is a guy going in for a hit and falling.

  11. Took me a minute to figure out this wasn’t Sidney crosby.
