Leo Carlsson is one scary player. He might be the guy to watch. He is a quarter back. He controls the play. Was the best player on the ice a couple games. My Brother has him as a dark horse to win the Calder. I think Bedard is going to be a lot like Pettersson. Little better maybe. Byfeild is under rated. Quickly becoming one of the better players out there. And he is a big guy.
Leo is a top 5 player.

As a Flyers fan, we finally see Cutter Gauthier getting some much-deserved love at #17, especially what he is doing and will do this year at BC & USNT. Cutter & Cooley undoubtedly are Top-2 of the 2022 draftees apologies to Slaf & Wright :-///… Gauthier will take NHL by storm with his goal-scoring prowess and will most assuredly be a Calder Trophy Candidate next year… Matvei I believe FOR SURE belongs at least in Top-10 of this list given he is currently the highest ppg scorer in KHL HISTORY at 18 YEARS OLD!!!

Not having hutson top 50 when you have luke hughes 13 is insane to me like they had the same pts last year in ncaa and i think hutson is way better on the offensive side ofc luke is way more two way

Poitras does not get the love he deserves. Minty has looked amazing . The problem with most these poles is that just look at the points stat it’s dumb.And then they have guys that they hang onto that shouldn’t be on the list anymore.

Lane Hutson not on that list is dissapointing. Also Kaiden Ghule could even crack the top 50.
So your telling me Michov, Lane Hutson, Stakoven, Nemec, Seth Jarvis, Josh Roy and Kotkanemi aren't on this list?.. Give me whatever TSN is smoking. How can players scoring above a PPG in the AHL be left out over players who aren't or just hardly scoring a PPG in the NCAA?.

Caufield is struggling this year, sure he had a point per game in 12 games, but it's starting to fall now as predicted. Here in Montreal we love our 60 pts players, forget about 80+ this year again, unless he get's scoring only 5 goals is kinda crazy, it just shows they need another top end player, which they never have since what Damphouse? Turgeon? Recchi? Kovalov? Even these players were not Superstars.

Zegras back to back 60 point seasons in his first two but has been injured which has reduced his points this season and he drops to the 30s

How is Stützle arguable top 5? He is so comparable to Hughes in so many ways. I swear just because Hughes was a 1st overall pick everyone thinks he’s miles ahead of Tim and I can’t understand it. I’m not knocking Jack. I think he’s an incredible player. I just don’t see how Stü is an “arguable top 5” and Jack is a slam dunk #2
Personally, I think it’s a toss between brothers Quinn and Jack honestly. They’ve both shown over and over again just how elite they truly are and deserving of the top 3 spots.
I kept waiting to see Lafreniere’s name come up but once it got up in to the 10-15 range, I came to the realization that he’s not even on the list. This makes no sense to me. Am I crazy or has he not been great this year?

Simashev over Reinbacher ? Also hutson should at least be on the list. Man, I knew when the habs picked slaf it be a mistake. I honestly had cooley as my first pick. I hope I'm wrong!
No Peterka (or Quinn) is a joke – JJ Peterka has 8 goals, 15 points right now and both had solid rookie seasons and tore up the AHL.
Not to mention Zach Benson looks like he easily cracks the list right now.
Call me a Sabres homer, but all 3 of those guys could and should easily be in the top 50.
Matt Beniers I think should be higher, extreme upside and bright spot on the krakens roster
Quinn can do everything jack does but at the hardest position.
