  1. I agree that game in Toronto was their most impressive performance so far this season. I was convinced they weren't going to be able to have an answer for the way the Leafs were playing, but they stayed on top of them.

  2. Nice to meet you at the game on Friday night. ( dude that was behind you) you're absolutely right that you can't play like this at home. My bro and I spent 140$, drove 4.5 hrs round trip, and paid 25$ for parking. For the sabres to not even remotely be involved in the game. Their record at home indicates this isn't unusual.

  3. With Savoie now in Buffalo does this mean Olofsson days are numbered? Im hoping so! San jose has cap room and could use the help .

  4. I really wish Okposo girgensons and olofsson would never step foot in our arena again, if we could sign kane have savoie stick and get Quinn back at least 70% I think we’ll be good

  5. The Philly game on Friday looked a lot like the other Philly game. The difference: We got some timely goals and UPL played well. They were still outplayed by Philly in Philly. It was not a good performance in Philly (UPL stole it) and the same in Buffalo (UPL sucked). This team does not play well in home. They keep it simpler on the road and I think they try to impress the home crowd and fail. They need to shoot the puck more and the defense needs to be better in coverage in the defensive zone.

  6. Watching my hometown Sabres across the way from Metro Detroit, I’m getting anxious that they’re about to repeat the same letdown as the 1974-75 seasons in spite of having upcoming legitimate goaltending. The D was always questioned back in the day, and I’m not liking what I’m seeing so far.

  7. Comrie is stilled injured? It's odd with Levi – he seemed to play MUCH better the end of last season when he came in. It feels like word is out amongst the league – 'go hard against Sabres RIGHT in first few minutes – they are vulnerable to goals in the first 2-5 minutes'.

  8. All those geek stats are stupid…we better trade Ryan Johnson a defensive D man because his expected goals for were low lol…geek stats don’t take into account that a guy like Ryan Johnson if he were playing with McKinnon, Makar he would have better stats compared if he’s on the ice with Girgs, Krebbie and Okposo

  9. Savioe, Benson, Biro are always hurt. Always hurt, Benson hurt twice in a month, Savioe hurt last year for camp, this year for camp, then hurt again, Biro hurt every 10 games in AHL hurt again

  10. Here’s my thing the goals on fridays game u can’t really blame lukkonen he got left out to dry, u can’t expect ur goalie to be god every game, 1st goal tage Thompson dicking around with the puck 2 feet from the blue line turns it over goal…second one terrible defense basically a cross ice pass for a goal, 3rd was a breakaway and then there was another breakaway goal, that shit shouldn’t happen, do we need a save? Yes but if there’s a breakaway given up that means ur defense fucked up and the only thing the goalie can do is try to bail you out…UPL would be a phenomenal backup and even phenomenal starter once he gets some years under his belt
