Trouba is a bum. I'm a Rangers fan, and i still can't believe this guy wears the C and gets paid what he does. He takes runs at guys all the time like a tough guy and does this stupid late crap, yet he lets opposing forwards set up shop in the slot and does nothing about it.
I feel bad that Burakovsky is out for 2 months because of this. But, I don't understand how it was called boarding in the game. I would've called it roughing, if anything, not that it really matters. He sure falls over easy from just a stiff arm/push. I guess he wasn't expecting anything, but there's a pretty big wind up from Trouba that he's about to swipe at him. I know Trouba gets a lot of flak, but Burakovsky has to do more to protect himself from a push while he is standing upright. It's not like he was off balance or overly leaning. I don't know, would be interested in a Tough Call Review if it goes to one. Maybe I'm just being biased here.
Teams should be fined for their players' suspensions. Fined with points or salary cap. You got suspended for 2 games? You cost your team a win (2 points) and maybe a playoff spot. Or 2M of salary cap and maybe a season. That alone would eliminate all the Troubas from hockey.
2 out of 5 Troubas. He didn't leap like he normally does. But, he managed boarding and interference, so he gets credit for a combo. This was so SO late, I can understand why Burakovsky wouldn't anticipate the shove into the boards. Considering the history of the player, I'd give Trouba 10 games.
That's what a broken collarbone looks like… Not a dirty/intentional play, just Trouba being Trouba. it's the proper call. look where the puck was at the moment of hit/shove.

I really don't like the fact that he uses his arm in this hit.

Seems late, but I don't know if I'd call it boarding. Roughing might be more appropriate.

I always found it amusing that Trouba's jersey number and his IQ are about the same
Great hit. Burakovsky should learn to skate. Went down easier than the Russian offensive.
Burakovsky is made of glass. Gets hurt just falling down. It’s a shame cause he’s a good player but really needs to start drinking his milk
