  1. So amazing to see. I was at the game tonight and finally, some energy in that building. Sabres were buzzing. If they play 60 mins like this every game, they'll be hard to beat. UPL Looked phenomenal.

  2. I honestly had like 2 paragraphs written to blast these guys for not scoring. Then the 3rd period happened. We haven't had a 3rd period like that this season. PK, PP it was all on point. GGs Fellas. Olofsson who? Like 2 points in each of last 3 games (I think). Knowing Pits was gonna come out hard after a shutout loss. Girgensons was gone for part of the 2nd and all of the 3rd (assume injured). Maybe we can call up someone if he is out for a bit. It indeed felt like last year when this team can score 3 in a period. BRAVO! UPL the beast! I love that he has been only a 2 GAA per game guy. UPDATE: I got a text from Granato, he wont start UPL next game. He said sorry Wayne. lol

  3. They were there all night just couldnt beat nedelkjovic, so hyped for this one, and the hits were brutal, they bullied Pittsburgh. This team is special and lets not forget, UPL, and They don't even have thompson, just so many good things going on. LETS GO BUFFALO!

  4. The only downer part is we couldn't get Tage going.. him being out gives others a chance still.. Tage scoring would really pick this team up.. Well have to see how the next few go..

  5. That's what I'm talking about !!!! That looked like the boys from last year. 60 min effort all around. We played the body . KO definitely had his chances and finally got one. The boys were so happy for him. UPL needs to run the table and stay in the net until he can't lol

  6. I feel this is a kind of win that can get everything together and string some wins together. Other games had that feeling, but it didn't come. A 3rd period comeback has a higher chance of sparking a team. Go Sabres.

  7. Very special win indeed. Its also nice to hear that Okposo was giving a speech to the team before the third to stop sitting back and waiting for things to happen. If that 3rd period team can play like that more often then they should make the playoffs no problem.

  8. This is the type of win that can spark a run of victories. It could be one of the hallmark games of the season. I'm going to keep telling you guys that Okposo and Girgensons play hard each game and generate as many scoring chances as any other line.

  9. It’s funny, Craig and Pete were just talking on After the Whistle about how the Sabres need a good comeback win to spark this team and get the game going and lo and behold the very next game that’s exactly what we get. Hopefully this game does spark some wins for the boys. Still a lot of season left to go

  10. It was interesting that Tuch said Okie spoke up in between the second and third.. That's leadership folks.

  11. Cozens and Power have not looked good. Though dahlin fanned on that pass, i still have 100x more confidence in Dahlin than power.

  12. Okposo gave a speech, as a captain should and also led by example. Put pucks to the net. Be fearless, get in front of the crease and lo and behold, they go in! Everyone that needed to step up tonight did and I’m proud to be a Sabres fan

  13. Looks like Upie should be the #1 goalie…for now. Ride him for a while and get him into a rhythm. Comrie should backup and Levi should be sent down to Rochester to get him playing time, build his game and his confidence. Olofsson with 6 points in last 5 games played. Actually gas looked like someone who cares all of a sudden. Maybe he got a vitamin B12 shot. Same with Okposo. Easily his best game of the year. Who knew the old guy could still skate? Before Girgensons went out (injured?) the Krebs-Okposo-Girgensons line looked for the 1st time this season what it looked like for a lot of last year. Still wondering where Powers head is at…he just seems lost at times. Now, here I go again…Samuelsson with a massive turnover that leads immediately to Crosby's opening goal. Complete unawareness and then panic by #23 as he totally misses that Gentzel has closed on him and then when he realizes it and while he still has control of the puck he tries a desperation pass to the point to a teammate who is covered. Does he not know to just eat the puck along the boards, out of harms way, and tangle on the wall to retain/gain possession. Oh, and while I'm discussing His Nothingness, let's look at the hitting stats for the game in which Clifton has 4, Dahlen with 3, Erik Johnson with 3 while the Big Lug has only 1. Same as Joker, Which are both still 1 more than…Power(less). The 2 biggest d-men on the Sabres can't/won't hit. Just amazing.

  14. That was a fun game to watch, Sabres showed the passion and fight in the 3rd we've been calling for. UPL was great early to keep it close, Dahlin put in a captain's shift and they deserved that win. My only complaint (which is league wide not just Buffalo) was the melee where it was all players holding each other but hoping not to fight. Nobody should get away with taking liberty's against your guys and with no enforcers anymore chirpy guys get away with it. But overall, remove the 2 turnovers that cost goals it was a really good performance. More please! 😊😉😋

  15. The C should of had a trick and Krebbs ain't going anywhere love that tenacity Peyton,he's gonna get 1 soon

  16. I admit I wrote them off in the third. They gave us zero indication they could come back. So glad they did! We really needed that game.

  17. I like our chances tonight against NJ and Lindy, who suddenly, appears to be up to his neck in quicksand. Go Sabres!

  18. Amerks: highest scoring team in the AHL, fast, tough and exciting! Call up best Amerks players. Rosen OT winner, Kulich 3 OT winners. They are many amerk players who are better than Girgs and Okposo right now.

  19. Good come from behind win…!!.Strong game from okposo,Eric Johnson,Tuch, and of course UPL .Good win ..boys.

  20. Now they can put a statue of Okposo in front of arena. I turned the game off at 2-0, was so sick of hearing about Crosby, blah blah, Crosby is the best, he beat up Krebbie, YUCK, I wanted someone to punch Crosby in the nose! I turned it back on after seeing Skinner scored.

  21. Great to see, now the hard part is keeping it up! Wish I played the same game parlay they were talking about…I think it was pens score first, Okposo has a goal, and Sabres win.

  22. Okposo could have had a hat trick with how close he came on a couple early chances. Season altering win for Buffalo. The fact they won in regulation was just the cherry on top. And they go to New Jersey tonight to play the mightily struggling Devils team.

  23. Hopefully, now the fun begins. It could take 75 points in 62 games to get there, 6/7/8th, but watching from 300 miles away I can see this team is capable.

  24. mittelstadt had 58% face off wins against Crosby, great night for him to keep possession, I still think Levi needs time in Rochester this is UPLs crease and we need Levi getting many reps, Comrie is decent at back up, give Levi one year in Rochester and bring him up next year

  25. Krebs was setting up Girgs and Okposo for point blank chances and those two couldn’t score, imagine if Krebbie was centering Rosen and Kulich?

  26. They finally won at a game I was at. They were 0-5 with my package until last night. So happy. I guess Okposo laid into the team between the 2nd and 3rd. Tuch said that after the game. Finally in the third they pay the rest they can with speed and physical play. That 3rd was the best period they have played all year. Just awesome to watch.
