OK Guys, it’s time to take a look at Habs prospect Filip Mesar, who is developing into a monster for the Kitchener Rangers this season. I was NOT expecting him to look this good .. But he has exceeded all my expectations thus far. Mesar is a 2 PPG player right now, and ya gotta love it!

I like him better then Slaf.
I like Beck's game. Some people think he is too small but so was another second round pick —Patrice Bergeron. Now I'm not suggesting that Beck will become a Hall of Fame center but he is bright and already defensive minded as a teenager so, who knows? Can someone tell me how big Mats Naslund was?
When does he make his nhl debut
Like him on puck
Annoyed watching him off puck
Lots of offensive throws at net with no chances that won't work at the next level
Hope this is a step forward and next he gets heavier, more aggressive defensively, and cleans up the the edges offensively
Kitchener is an absolute buzzsaw this year and Mesar is a big part of that. Love it.

Too bad Mesar is not playing with Slav.. wouldn't that been better both of them in the minors playing on the same line would off helped them with play making chemistry..BUT what do I know .. I'm just an old fart who loves hockey 🤪
I am so happy that he isnt on 4th line playing below 10minutes in laval, it could have destroyed his carrier if it went that way… hopefully he will keep getting better and next season he will be top6 in laval…

Mesar is off to a great start for sure. He looks comfortable on the NA ice.
Great video bro . I wasnt worried about last season with Mesar, he was on the worst team in the league.But he s talented and we only got glimpses of it. Now he s starting to show consistancy with it. And it helps playing for a much better team. Keep up the great work.
Love that it looks like he’s developing nicely but I also realize the fact that the guy is almost 20 still playing in the OHL on a good team so of course he’s gonna kill it. Other than that though he does look good

I can't help but wonder how Slafkovsky would be doing right now if he had the chance to develop in a league other than the NHL.
That would be great to see a F. Xhekaj – Owen Beck – Luke Tuch 4th line in the near future. A good combination of speed, size and sand paper with great forecheck. The type of 4th line you want to have in a team when you're looking for a spark.

yeah he's good in the junior, but remember he couldn't make the team in the Rockets in the AHL

Slaf Dach Mesar and Xhekaj Beck Roy our godly second line and third line you heard it here first come back in 3 years, just kidding but it's definitely a possibility with the way these guys are developing
Pump the brakes HJ….he is in junior when he starts producing in the pros I may start to get excited….there are lots of great junior players….Alex Daigle was great in junior too and we know how that went

I'm glad Thrillop is doing great this year, I live in kitchener and I've seen Thrillop play a few times even met the kid with my son. However I have yet to see him score. And I got to see Mesar play against Beck. Neither got a point both times I saw them play haha oh well. But I glad he's doing better well much better. And yes I would cheer for the opposition in kitchener if it's Beck and only Own Beck.

As good a night as Mesar had, Antonino Pugliese "The Pug" had 4 goals. 👍
Mesar could've easily had 6 or more points last night. Made several great passes that didn't get converted, had some other good looks himself. Completely dominated the Otters.
I’m a jets fan but living in Kitchener makes me like the candiens a hell of a lot more.
