Dude that stomp on the stick what if a hand slips out of the plie or a leg and ended up there , geez that should be a huge suspension!

Scheif should not have gone and stomped on a stick like that, it's a dangerous move. But I do get why he was upset, Panthers got away with so many hits and interferences that whole game and this one Cousins clearly intentionally both went for 55's head and stuck out a knee. Just dirty shit. I really wish the Panthers weren't such goons because they'd earn a lot more respect for their team from both fans and players. But consistently doing shit like this makes it impossible to respect their gameplay some games.

NHL officiating is a disgrace and they are responsible for games like this getting out of hand and putting players in situations where someone can get seriously hurt. Considering their apparent mandate is to allow the game to be played and not get involved, by choosing not to penalise infractions when they occur they are in fact dictating the tone of the game. Like I said, disgraceful and allows teams like Florida to get so far in the playoffs when they are objectively the less skillful team.
