Let’s talk about the Vancouver Canucks and Nate Schmidt, and how this trade is, in the short-term at least, an absolute gift for the team.
Schmidt was acquired from the Vegas Golden Knights in exchange for a measly 3rd round pick, in order for VGK to free up the necessary room to bring in Alex Pietrangelo, formerly of the St. Louis Blues.
This video is taking place before the upcoming 2021 NHL Season.
Unique to the 2021 NHL Season Divisions are new divisions, which go as follows:

Again my Brother tells me, this guy beat us on Vegas. I'm like wow this is great. I think he will have a career year. Vancouver has a more offensive system than Vegas. Like Miller I had to be told who he was then again wow. He sees the ice better than Tanev did. You know I am lactose intolerant. I had a chocolate shake and then chocolate rain.
Chocolate rain
Why did you think that was bad for the cunucks as a Vegas fan who's watched every game for 3/4 years it's going to be sad to see him play for another team
Chocolate Rain! *Moves back from the mic to breathe in.
He makes back 1/2 of you canucks lost this off season lol hahhahaa still less talent
Chocolate Rain: When you comment Hunter Shinkerick but dont make the video… RIP
I’m looking forward to Wednesday.
Chocolate rain on me

Chocolate Rain drops keep falling on my head ☔🌂
Chocolate rain. The best hockey game I ever saw was with Harvard and Minnesota 3 ot's. I really think Canucks owe a debt to Vegas for this one.
At hershey world chocolate rained on me
Some stay dry and others feel the pain
Only real good trades Benning has done are Miller and Schmitt when other teams up against cap . Now if only Benning never signed all those free agents , to think Barzal making a million more than the Myers .
chocolate rain, some stay dry and others feel the pain, chocolate rain
Chocolate rain would be fantastic
I agree about Schmidt, although, there are no "locker-rooms" in hockey.
Steal of a deal
Chocolate rain !!!!!!!
A third rounder for Nate at the money he makes is another steal for Jim Benning. I am very impressed with how he has replaced all of the players he lost due to the free agency cap issues. I think we will be as good or better than last year if Swiner can make the team and the goal tenders perform up to their potential. For me the goal tending is the only sketchy area, because Holtby wasn't very good last year and Demko is untried at the 1A or 1B spot. With the whirl wind schedule they will need both of them to play good to be successful. The black aces depth should be good as the farm has seasoned some good depth for the team this year. Should be fun.
he will be 32 by the time his contract ends. His contract or Oliver Ekman Larsson.
As a vgk fan it sux to see nate dogg go, but im glad he went to a team where he can still be a star on the blue line !! 👍👍 but yea, you canucks got a good player for a great trade !!
I agree with u

Much nicer than Bieksa I think lol
he's a legit #2 D and you got him for a 3rd. i don't know why you'd ever have thought it was a bad idea.
my habs just signed jeff petry, a very similar but older player, to a similar contract, and i'm happy with it. that's the kind of guy you have in schmidt.
chocolate rain
The real question is WHO is gonna be more healthy this season? Hamonic or Taney? They are both injurie prone.
Oh and Golen Rain 😂
His contract might only look rough in its last year. He will still be productive for 4 more years easily.

Chocolate rain. I move away from mike to breath. CHOCLATE RAIN
I expect many topics to start out with " I was wrong"
blue line depth will help Hughes not being target by the other team as easily
How could anyone not consider the Schmidt trade a steal?!
01:25 – I predict we'll see a video from Lego in 2024/2025 with the title "I was wrong – The Nate Schmidt contract is not ugly". 🙂
Vegas will regret trading Schmidt to the Canucks.
I never knew what u were talking about in the first place. Even in "today's NHL", decent players don't START slowing down until they hit about 32 or 33 years old… U keep talking like 29 or 30 years of age is old and over the hill…
Elias Pettersson mic'd up during practice I weigh more then Quinn that's his sense of humor lol😂
I think his contract will be fine
Be careful what you wish for. Schmidt is a turnover machine. Nate has a GREAT personality and is a really good person BUT he turns over the puck a TON. I've watched every minute of every Knights game ever and no other player made me so nervous when he was about to pass, just so so so many bad passes and giveaways.
He's a great dude. Please take care of him. -VGK fan.
Let me know if you want to play a game of chel. Definitely think it would be a good game
Bruh. Watchu mean u wrong. He proved nothing yet
Schmidt will grow on any Canucks fan- he’s an absolute gem of a guy and as selfless a player as you can ask for
Guess the Canucks don’t like steroid users on their team and unloaded Nate Schit to the Jets! Winnipeg likes steroid users on their team!
