  1. The expectations are way too high on these upcoming rookies to become Super stars based on their talents and skills, the management of any league should let them grow and take on whatever wisdom comes their way. I would say the first 5 years with an entry-level contract is the most critical and crucial. I hope I made some sense out of this.

  2. Loved Klinger in Dallas, but when he demanded 8 million a year the stars said NO, but the Sharks took the bait. What were the leafs thinking? Johns hip has ended his days as a player. But he doesn't have to depend on social security like 99.9% of us regular dummies.

  3. Leafs pay him $4.15M for a year. Great return on investment, huh Brad and Brendan? Such a waste of capital.

  4. Edmonton and the leafs could be trade partners Edmonton needs a goalie the leafs have Jones that could help he is a decent goalie the leafs need defence treviling has looked at that big d man desharnis that Edmonton has maybe that’s. a deal

  5. Thanks for the full episodes on YouTube guys. 😊

Thanks for the shout out JB, lol. Still miss the live chat but I never miss an episode of RK&B. Keep bringing us great guests, Kyper's clippers, and off the rails Fridays with Mac.

You guys are great, may you have continued success on the latest version of the show. ❤

  6. LTIR?? Sucking is not an injury. It seems the Leafs are using LTIR to bury their mistakes. I wish the league would clamp down on misusing LTIR. Wasn't Matt Murray good to go at the end of last season?

  7. Need time stamps, so i can skip toronto crap. It's like most boring team in canada. 😀

  8. I hate that it's not real time, like it used to be, but even if it's late, it's nice to see you guys back on youtube.

  9. Swede here, and JB makes a very good point about Klingberg being amazing in game 1 (he used to be that good!). Klingberg was one of my favourite D-men, together with Karlsson. But last 2-3 years Klingberg has been nothing but a liability. If it's injury or confidence related, a decay of skill or just a little bit of everything, I don't know.

  10. How Mike Futa was an NHL executive is beyond me. He doesnt appear to have a grasp of how contracts work in the NHL…

  11. So basically, the Leafs signed a guy that's bad at hockey…everybody knew he was bad at hockey…but the Leafs signed him anyway. Then when it predictably didn't work out…they conveniently sidestep the consequences of that poor signing by moving him to LTIR…and thus increase their own salary cap. All this sounds remarkably like cheating to circumvent the "hard cap". Kind of like how the Leafs "solved" their Matt Murray and Jake Muzzin problems.
