Nhl edmonton oilers vs florida panthers started well for the oil, but it was the same old story in the end, that’s not what I want to talk about though (for once lol). The connor mcdavid penalty shot goal and one timer feed from leon draisaitl was pretty, but I want oilers fans to remember how they felt when this happened, because it certainly brought me back to that moment. We’ve seen many connor mcdavid highlights since then, but let’s revisit. A year when they are cup favorites they go and try a whole new defensive system. Cost a coach his job and will cost the Oilers not making the playoffs. This organization does one stupid blunder after another. I'm an Oilers fan and the only cup these players will ever get to touch is their jock cup.

I’m gonna be honest here. When it showed the replay of McDavid flailing his arms as he slides into the boards, I couldn’t help but chuckle a little bit. It was a little funny to see.

I can see the top few guys aren't feeling it, usually they play with a confidence and kinda swagger that seems to be missing, sometimes it just needs a jumpstart. C'mon guys your better than this.

McDavid is no doubt an incredible player. I enjoy watching him on the ice. However, he's wasting his career with this team. With all the 1st draft picks they got, the management still fails to build a solid team year after year.

It might sound stupid and even like ea nhl level of move, but I think they should try Bouchard as a forward, they're doing that with Jesper boqvist in columbus and he's playing pretty well, albeit he's used as a defensive forward. Idk maybe not the move but give it a try and put real defenseman in his spot on the blue line, cause this guy is clearly incapable if making smart safe plays

The problem of Oilers is that most of their salary cap is spent on 2 superstars with cardboard personality, who cant inspire anyone, even if their lives depended on it.
Leon been carrying just as much as Connor.
