   Flyers would be fools to trade Hart, but If they do, he’s not the savior Edmonton would be hoping for.
   Hart is young enough to be part of the rebuild. It’s so hard to find a steady goalie who can go on stretches of greatness, I think Carter is that guy. If the Flyers do move him they better get a pretty good haul. Now if he does get moved to Edmonton in a very high pressure situation with cup aspirations I think Edmonton should look elsewhere. Hart still has a few flaws in his game and his confidence has been rocky over his career. I just don’t think Edmonton has a good enough defense to put in front of Hart. He’s still learning and finally settling in well these last 2 years under Torts. He was shell shocked under the previous regimes rudderless system. My opinion he’s more valuable to the Flyers long term plans than Edmontons cup window.

   I'd be surprised that Philly would even consider trading Carter Hart at all and the Oilers moving Skinner leaves them without a back up. Besides the world junior controversy hasnt been resolved and until it is that would be a huge barrier imo. Probalbility of this trade happening is not likely .

   The player or team don’t owe it to us as to why a player isn’t in the lineup. There are a million personal reasons why Perry isn’t playing. The reason will probably come out, let’s respect their privacy until then.

   To get a team to take Campbell's contract could mean a 1st round pick, since he has 3 years left on his deal after this season. Flyers would insist on a 1st round pick as part of any Carter Hart Deal. Flyers already have a bad Cal Pettersen contract. I would say Gibson from the Ducks, but Anaheim might not want to trade to a division rival. Oilers have to be careful here.. their problems run far deeper than just goaltending. A weak d core, combined with almost forwards not aware of what defensive hockey actually means, with a determination to stay ignorant about it are also large factors.

    I call Edmonton's goaltending situation the "paradoxical tandem" Campbell thinks he's not good enough to be a starter and Skinner thinks he's too good to be a back up. If you ask me they both need a few sessions with a sports therapist. Unless Manny Legace has a degree in Sports Psychology and Behavioral Science teaching Campbell to work on his lateral movement isn't going to solve the Jack Campbell problem. Jack's problem is between the ears. Skinner's problem is needing his defense to play a perfect game to win a game. Jack can steal games when he has his head on right. Skinner implodes when his defense implodes. Edmonton fans has seen enough evidence of that. Skinner doesn't have that X factor when he can steal games when his defense crumbles. Edmonton fans has seen enough evidence of that as well. Skinner is an over achieving back up at best right now. Maybe he'll develop into a #1 in a few years. But he's not even close to being a #1 today.

    Cambell is not fetting traded. Jesus stop with this. The oilers arent sending a potential lottery pick to shed 5 mil. They will either send him with 50% retention and a prospect, or they will keep him burried and buy him out in the offseason.
    Stop with this idiocy.

    As a Flyers fan I wound’t be a up for that trade. The team is about 3-4 years away from having a solid playoff contender and if they keep Hart, at 28 he’ll be entering his goaltending prime.

    It could be tough replacing Hart in Philadelphia. I know they have quite load of prospects in development. I would have to know what the draft positions are. I don't know who any prospects are in the Edmonton organization.
