I was perusing SHL stats when I saw a familiar name atop both the GAA and SV% rankings to start the season. Obviously the season is still young but it’s not unheard of for goalies to have strange, winding paths of development and also to emerge as legit players around Larsson’s current age of 25.

I kind of wonder how much covid derailed his progression. He only got to play 17 pro games in NA (played in the USHL for a season and a season in the NCAA). Then he was loaned out for two seasons and got better in both.
He blew his groin out, will he ever be the same?
.951 sv% in the SHL as a backup (?) is super impressive. Guy could still make the show for sure.
