Both the Jacobs and the Akers one were egregious. Simply inexcusable. Both those players should be absolutely ashamed and thankful they weren't fined more for such atrocities.

I don't suppose the NFL compensates the player the hit was made on by giving then at least part of the fine. Nope they just take it for themselves or give it to a charity so that they don't have to take it out of their actual earnings for charity.
