  1. Uh oh, Shannon, the Kings saw you grade Montreal a B and took that as a challenge.

Love how Copley's bounced back! And even if both those very soft goals allowed by Allen came back, still a pretty decisive W.

    GKG!

  2. Today was the first time in Kings history that they've shutout Montreal at home. I was quite surprised to hear that, even if they only play in LA once a season.

  3. All 4 lines rolling, Grundstrum and Lewie getting goals Copper getting a shutout. Pk is crushing it this year. Isn't it crazy it's feast or famine in the pacific.

  4. The Gavrikov acquisition is looking better and I truly believe Copley would've been a better goalie for them last season playoffs BUT it is what it is.

  5. I really wanted LA to lose this one. The Canucks have the 5th best record in the NHL, but they are 3rd in their division. They are cursed.

  6. Strong structured win for LA. That's 5 in a row! The Kings have eleven different players with at least 4 goals scored on the season, and that leads the league. Depth wins championships, and LA might very well be the deepest team in the entire NHL.

    Go Kings Go!

  7. Good to see Copley continue to revert to the mean. He's not an All-Star, but he's nowhere near as bad as he looked to open the season. He should be perfectly fine as 1B on a good team, which is what he is right now.

  8. Even with the top line basically taking the night off the Kings walked this one. I mean, it's only Montreal, but still pretty impressive.

Moore at $4.2 million through 2028 might wind up looking like a crazy bargain. I don't think he's going to keep up his point-a-game pace, but he might wind up at 60… which is pretty crazy given the low ice time he (or any Kings forward) gets.

  9. LA has only allowed 5 goals in their last 5 games and have scored 19 goals, and all 4 lines are scoring it's been really fun to watch

  10. Very disappointing showing for the Canadiens outside of the Newhook – Suzuki – Gallagher line barely anything happened in the offensive zone, but it was to be expected after barely winning vs the Sharks.

My respects to the Kings they are that good, it could of easily been a massacre with a little more puck luck.

  11. It's been a while a deep and solid four lines that the Kings roll and interchangeable or can juggle as well. That goes to show you any given game, it's very tough to beat a team like them.

  12. It took LA GMRB many major moves the last several years to get to this point. Acquiring Danault in UFA and trading for Arvidsson, trading for Fiala, trading for and signing Gavrikov and finally trading and signing Dubois. Then all of the deals to unload cap space to get all those players signed on the same roster, while still keeping Kopitar and Doughty's contracts and still be under the cap. And somehow still keeping Byfield and Clarke…

  13. What a dominate game by Kings. I am so stoked for Copper! Homie has really worked on details of his game & its showing. GKG!!!

  14. Even Jake Allen said " they have the most complete team game in the league, it is really impressive" lets gooo Kings!!

  15. Question for you The Hockey Guy.
Philadelphia beat NYI 1 – 0 in a shootout. Do both goalies receive a shutout credit on their record or just the winning team?

  16. My Kings are putting a great run together, hope to pass Vegas to win the Div. Love your vintage Kings uni, my favorite.

  17. It’s actually scary how deep this Kings organization is from top to bottom. Just checked into their AHL team only to see Turcotte, Clarke, and Fagemo absolutely torching the minors. Reign are just as hot as the Kings. They be around for a very long time.

  18. In their last 17 games the Kings are 13-2-2. That's 28 out of a possible 34 points. Vegas, Kings, Rangers, and Bruins are the top 4 in the power ratings.

  19. barely any habs fans comment today in this video
the habs lines are all messed up. it seems like MSL got lost in the sauce trying to make everyone productive. only suzuki can make other players look better. Caufield on the second line is not ok, as having newhook and gally on the first. even defensive pairing were changed.
i don't like this. they are shooting themselves in the foot
