Not sure the rules on the high stick so maximum fine may be the best you can get on that. But the no call on the ice should get the ref a couple weeks off
It was the Boston players fault, if he would have recognized he was playing against superior players he should have rolled over on his back and exposed his most vulnerable parts in an attempt to gain mercy from the real men he was playing against.
Slow motion does nothing but remove context. Not saying it wasn’t a penalty, cuz the refs are beyond blind this year, but it wasn’t intentional as he appeared to be tangled and freeing up his arm. Incidental, reckless, but seemingly not intentional.

How does he only get a $5000 fine for a slash to the head? That should have been a match penalty for intent to injure and a very long suspension.
