Refs not doing their job again and NHL player safety useless joke as ever.
LA continues to dominate on the road and no mention of how strong they are after a somewhat slow start.
Has anyone been confused with how back to back games teams been playing. I’m. Canucks fan so maybe biased. But I swear the amount of back to back games seem crazy
NHL rewind back to 1983 and let the players loose. The penalties these days are absurd. The Sharks/Canucks "line brawl' was at best pee wee fight.
1) The NHL needs new management, commissioners, whatever, they just need new leadership. Great game, great skill, f’ing horrible decision makers and untrustworthy leaders.
2) players need to stop being brats about their positions or their teams positions in the league

If there were two offensive players vs one opposing goalie I would watch this. the two offensive players have 15 minutes to score as many goals as they can. if the goalie catches the puck and puts it on his net he gets a point. the referee collects the puck and puts it back in play for the two offensive players again. if the goalie does not catch the puck the play continues. after 15 minutes you switch sides.
Ever since the pride movement of flag worshipers , stuck their beaks into NHL business. The quality started to down the drain. It's a good thing they didn't go retard with the pride people. The NHL would be much worse off than it is now.

With the way the officials and league office has been the last dozen or so years, I am actually surprised we have yet to have any major call outs (or maybe just more of them?) similar to how MAF did it. I really want to see a star player go all Mark Cuban and start calling things out left and right

The NHL is a total joke fest with lunatic nonsense crud ball defensemen doing whatever the hell they want to elite offensive players once again. They only do it now in their on end knocking players over and running inference in their own end. Then the coaches demand elite players to play defense when they cannot play good defense nor is it their job to play good defense. The stacked teams all have all the NHL caliber defensemen on them. The top-heavy elite offensive players all have 2 decent defensemen at best. The rest of the defensemen on top heavy elite offensive players teams have all AHL defensemen. This league has managed to turn itself into a total mess once again. All of the above explains why power plays are no longer working in the NHL with great offensive players. Also, goalie pads could be reduced a bit……

I really feel like a lot of the leagues issues boil down to awful officiating. Arbitrary rules. Refs never call a penalty that would result in a 3 on 5, lack of disciplinary action for stuff clearly against the rules. We need linesman to be able to call minor penalties that the ref misses.
I'm glad the whack on Frederic's head is at least being talked about because that shit had me screaming at my TV for a good 5 minutes straight. How the FUCK was there no penalty or suspension…

No… probably not. Just keep bringing in new goalies, new defensemen, new coaches. As long as he skates fast and puts up PP points, we'll say "he's the best player in the league and he needs help". When Sid was "the best player in the league" he sure did a better job of helping his team win games…
