Spent a lot of time in Phoenix when Walt was the captain. Amazing and skilled power forward, but lacked the 200 foot game and situational awareness and discipline to lead that team to success.
Both boys are better overall players than their dad, but Matthew is a bit of an asshat, compared to Brady who is a wonderful leader and a player who keeps getting better all the time.
Either player is a game changer though and would be welcomed in an instant to any NHL club.
I haven’t been interested in overseas hockey yet when Keith was playing, but both Tkachuk brothers are in my top 10 favourite players. If I really have to only choose one…if I had an offensive stud able to put up 100 points on the team already, I’d go with Brady. I not, Matty. In a vacuum…damn…probably Brady. Awesome work btw!
