This guy sprayed me with a fire extinguisher over 30 years ago. Did he get you?
Outside Clark and Salming, my favourite Leaf.
Happy you got this shot. Story time?

Met him at the Sutton Place one night. We were checking in at the same time and I asked him for an autograph. He was gracious and we talked about Sudbury a bit (it’s my hometown and his sister lived there at the time).
As we walked away he followed us to the elevator. When I hit the button for our floor, he just nodded. When we walked to our rooms they were side by side.
He was playing for Buffalo (circa 2000) at the time, but was injured. The Sabres were in town.
Later that night, after the game, many of the Leafs stopped by. It was well after midnight and repeated yelling, happy voices kept bellowing, “Kiiiillllerrrr!”. I’d fallen asleep some time before but my wife couldn’t sleep with all the noise.
She opened the door and with her best elementary school teacher’s voice said, “C’mon guys can you keep it down”. Tie Domi was standing just outside our door and said, “Sorry ma’am, let’s take it inside boys”.
We refer to it as the night my wife fought Tie Domi.
