Guys I respectfully disagree with the Montour takes. He’s looked so fast out there and has had/will continue to increase his opportunities. He has been a boost to the team moving the the puck at the point and his defense has been solid. He’s got another level or two he’s going to get too. I LOVE Forsling, but he ain’t Montour. He’ll never score 16 goals and have 50+ assists in a season. He doesn’t have that in his game. There was one play last night where Montour went coast to coast and got to Korpisalo almost one on one, that kind of skill puts serious pressure on other teams. Again, not something Forsling has in his game. Montour has forward-like qualities and is still solid defensively, unlike an Erik Karlsson.

Maybe those 2 losses we had were to try and convince Kane that we needed his help on offense – now that he signed with Detroit, we pummel Ottawa. Ekblad is toast – BUT he is a right shot, which makes him very valuable. But it may come down to a business decision – he doesn't move the needle that much on D.

I'm with STU with wanting a Vegas rematch. Because to be the man you gotta beat the man. The only different thing I'd want is home ice. Don't go crazy on Montour he's never seeing 70plus points again, 5 mill max.
Just an insane game. This one totally dwarfs the 7-2 win we had over Ottawa towards the end of last year's regular season. I've been watching hockey and the Panthers for almost a decade. This is without a doubt, the craziest regular season game I've ever seen. Definitely one to remember!
We definitely werent a hundred percent when we got to the cup cause of the injuries. But we did beat vegas March 7 when our team was healthy…so I wouldn't say they have our number
Forsling is also incredible in terms of passing accuracy. Remember, Ottawa played very poorly. Today Sens fans are saying their coach is likely to be fired today. Their D was almost non existent. Sens went after Chucky because he actually giving Korpisalo cheap shots all night. You can see some of these on the Ottawa fans posts on YT. Didn't see that 'after the play' stuff by Chucky on BallySports.

I agree with you Stew absolutely bring the Knights on with us being a 100% healthy and I think we beat them. Eric we want the best of the best.
You're wrong on the offsides. Bennett did not touch the Puck when it crossed the line until after Matthew touched up, then he touched the Puck. That's why it was a good goal. Had nothing to do with him not getting back Bennett never touched the Puck in the zone until Matthew touched up. And the officials during the game said that's why it was a good goal.
