EDM needs veteran leadership?… Am I wrong for expected Nurse, Draisaitl, Nuge & even McDavid to be those veterans who have the work ethic to lead the charge? Not to mention Ekholm, Hyman, Ryan, Kane, Janmark, Ceci & Kulak should be considered veterans. EDM plays 2 FWD lines & 1 DEF pair(spread over 2 pairs). Spread the top 6 into the top 9 and get some help on defense! Either Campbell figures it out fast or do whatever it takes to move on. This team focuses too much on offense and this is what you get.
Why do people like Yaremchuk talk down on Erne? We signed him because he plays in straight lines and can skate. He’s done EXACTLY what he’s advertised as. Anybody else even consider this…Why did we try and sign Matt Nieto day one? Because he plays in straight lines. If y’all paid attention…Erne was only signed to be up here because Gagner was still injured 😂 these guys get paid to talk about hockey in this city and it blows my fucken mind
