No, I loved Perry in his time here but with what’s gone down and how serious it sounds, I don’t think it would be wise to bring him back. The guy had his contract fully terminated, that’s not something that a team does lightly. This organization doesn’t need another black mark on it if they bring Perry back and the truth of what he may have done comes out. Plus I mean the guy is 38 and we’re a rebuilding team, we bring Perry back for 30 games to trade him for a 3rd to some contender? There’s just no substantial benefit that would be worth all the risk

I liked Perry on the team. As of now, I try not to think of him negatively yet. I mean we don’t know what happened, just that it wasn’t “criminal” and other players were not involved.
It’s weird how hush-hush the Blackhawks are being about this. They are making this whole situation worse by not being forthcoming. I’m expecting more drama to unfold in the next few days.
