  1. Before the complaints start. The high stick is irrelevant. The next player to touch the puck was on Vancouver, Demko, then Demko pushed the puck into the net himself. Odd goal, but a good goal.

  2. The phrase "call on the ice stands" means that evidence to overturn is inconclusive. The call on the ice was…GOAL! You need conclusive visual evidence to overturn the call on the ice.

  3. This game should've gone to overtime due to that high stick on one of the Seattle goals. The high stick made it possible for the puck to drop as low as it did. If no one got their sticks on the puck, the puck would've went past everyone and hit the post or gone past the net.
