Montembeault is certainly worth $4 million x 4 years, whereas Jake Allen is way overpaid at this stage of his career.
May I ask why you are spreading Corry Perry rumors? You mentioned reputable sources have said there ain't nothing to them, but that doesn't stop you…?
I hate social media sometimes when they spread garbage like this rumor it's just people that are salty that Conor bedard is Chicago Blackhawks and not on their team to me Corey Perry is doing with something else not family related probably that's possibility but what do I know I do believe it's drug problems cuz hockey players has known problems with drugs. Jori lehtera with that drug ring that he was busted for. Kuznetsov and that drug video. Not to mention how many players took drugs there's not feel anything when fighting
I just want to go on record with you guys and say unequivocally that Corey Perry did NOT sleep with my mother on the recent Chicago Blackhawks mothers trip.
Why would that be out of the realm of possibility? Chris Pronger departed from the Oilers for similar mysterious reasons with speculation he had an affair with a team mates wife. What followed after Chris Pronger left? The decade of darkness for the Oilers. Sports is a business. Was it worth it to the Oilers to arguably do the right thing and choose feelings and emotion over therapy, internal discipline and the future of the club? Chris Pronger was the Oilers future. I'm not saying I disagree with the Oilers decision to let Pronger go, but look at Pronger today. No one cares what happened in 2006. It's up to the public and Oiler fans to judge how impactful it was to release Chris Pronger in 2006 based on whatever the truth was. That said, Chris Pronger, Corey Perry, no comparison in loss of talent. Although I find it to be an incredible coincidence they both have the same initials in their name and allegedly rumored to have been released from thei organization for the same reason.
Leafs bule line has been terrible

I know NJ keeps getting brought up about goaltending and a sub .900 save percentage. But that’s happening throughout the league. A lot of goalies are struggling to get to .900.

Re:Oilers: don't start planning the Cup parade just yet…😁😁😁 As I've mentioned before….a team can only compensate for crappy "D" and "G" for so long with their "O"….at some point they'll lose games they would win if they had solid "D" and "G". They've still got to claw their way over 5-6 teams to even snag a Wildcard spot.

Re: Habs: as a diehard Habs fan I'm hoping they sign "Monty"…. he's been playing well and deserves a chance at the #1 "G" position. Primeau has looked good too…..better than previous years. I'm hoping they can unload Allen.

Kane to Detroit has been confirm by ESPN and Sportsnet. . If he had gone to Florida, I'd say Florida was a lock for the Atlantic. Going to Detroit will make an already competitive. division even more competitive.

So sick of hearing Primeau Goalie of the Future. What future? If he was so great he would have been on the Habs 5 years ago. That hasn't happened. Get rid of him. The guy is gonna be 35 years old some day and you'll still be calling him goalie of the future.
So the Habs really think it's a good idea to keep Allen and Primeau as their two top goalies? I can't understand how Candiens fans would be in favor of that (as if they had a choice).

I don’t believe that Corey Perry and Connor Bedard’s mother actually hooked up. But I do think there is some truth along the lines that he may have tried giving her his number. Maybe he was getting a little too flirty, something tells me he was trying. I just feel like this type of stuff is something that everybody would keep their mouth shut. I mean I feel like if there was something else going on in the locker room we would’ve heard about it if there were something with law-enforcement being involved I’m sure we would’ve heard about it. No mention of a family situation, no mention of player assistance program. I think it was his behavior towards either a teammate’s wife/girlfriend, or in this case the rumor of Bedard’s mother. It does seem kind of strange that people wanted to shoot those rumors down so quickly yet you know they did have a recent Mom‘s trip. I don’t know something tells me there might be some truth to this. Look how long the Kyle Beach situation was kept quiet. I think eventually whatever happened in the situation with Perry it will come out.
