This hip surgery has a 0% success rate, so far. Skating has never been Kane's strong point, so, what is he losing? Passing and shooting have been elite throughout his career. He got DeBrincat back and im thinking Compher will center them. Kane could play this week after a couple of practices or he might need some time in conditioning and to strengthen that hip. If, hes back to near old form and we're winning to the playoffs, think Stevie will package a deal for another elite player to get us over the hump as a yearly headache for the rest of the league?
After watching Modano, Coffey, Alfredsson, Park et al suffer through their last painful years in Detroit, we're about to see another future HOF player cry themselves into retirement. 9 goals, 24 assists is my guess. Any more and his orthopedic surgeon should win the Nobel Prize.
