  1. Would loved to have Yzerman and Kane on the same line. The two of them working with the team should produce some great results.

  2. Love the move. But we’ve got a log jam. And berggy got called up too. If he’s healthy we could be a playoff team for sure. Hopefully it works out

  3. I could see the lines panning out like this…
    Veleno Larkin Raymond
    DCat Compher Kane
    Perron Copp Fabbri
    Kostin Ras Sprong

    Walman Seider
    Gost Holl
    Chiarot Petry Maatta

  4. Kostin is going to be the odd man out. I wouldn't rule out Stevie trading him, or possibly one of our extra defensemen to free up some cap space. Ben Chiarot would be the obvious choice.

  5. Gross. Following in the footsteps of chelios. As much as I hate them a Kane red wings jersey will go hard. Not as good as he looked in a hawks sweater but a very close second

  6. Only $2.5 mill and only for a year, Yzerman made an excellent deal. Kane was great with the Rangers last year, I wish they’d have got him for that price.

  7. This is really exciting, as a disenfranchised Wings fan. Suddenly boosting experience, knowledge, and skill in a team that's been struggling in the swirling toilet bowl of inevitable failure each year. Hopefully these O lines take off in 23-24, build their system, and Stevie and Co. can focus on the D lines for next season. Cool, cool!

  8. My only complaint is that it was a 1yr deal. I don’t think it would’ve killed us if we gave him 2yrs. If he turns out to out to play very, very well..we may regret not giving him 2yrs.

  9. Wow…. amazing even if Kaner is in the end of his career it's crazy only concern is Raymond could go down the line up which is not a good news because Raymond was hot in that top line with Larks and the Cat but the possibility to see Kane/Cat together once again and in the Winged Wheel That's Insane

  10. Patrick Kane signs with Detroit for 1 year $2,750,000 so it must have been pro-rated from $3,000,000 seeing that 25% of the season is gone already.

  11. Kane is a 35 yr old with a "resurfaced" hip.. Don't get too excited he's not the same player we grew to hate.

  12. With the line combination shown, take fisher our of the lineup and drop Rasmussen back to 4th line center and drop Kane in on his spot on the 2nd line for instant chemistry with DeBrincat!

  13. I feel like they will be running 13, 6 or 7 and 2 or 3. Maybe sit fischer or rasmussen, put kane 2nd line i guess

  14. The 1 year deal is the surprise here. It makes sense that he chose Detroit in that they are competitive and have space in the top six for him where he would probably be lower in the lines on more likely cup contenders.

  15. 57 Games 49 points 21 goals, LW sprong , C Larkin, RW Raymond, LW CAT, C compher, RW Kane, LW fabri, C Veleno, RW RASmussen, LW berg, Copp, RW kostin. Best lines available honestly
