I would keep doc with the first line for the next game or two and see if rust can get the second line going. I think doc is better off as a third line left wing but I think throwing him on the 2nd line only disrupts his chemistry with the 1st line or even the third line. I just don't think nylander has done much to keep him on the 2nd line and he's not really a 3rd line type. Should be interesting but i want a bit more sample size for doc on the 1st line as i think he has room to grow into that role.
*question how are we feeling about the third pair defense? I haven't noticed them too much in good or bad but that's probably a good thing. I do like that players have to keep their heads up when Ludz is on the ice.
The system for the PowerPlay definitely needs to change that is the biggest problem
If jars can stay healthy the pens will be a completely different team
