First Goal DEPTH SCORING with a Gagner goal and a Hamblin assist, honestly to me it looked like an Erne deflection but who cares, it's a depth goal and that's great. Only goal of the 1st period so it was a very defensive period. It opened up in the 2nd. Stone got one early, Janmark answered (DEPTH SCORING!!!! good to see him rewarded with his first goal coming back from injury) it was a McDavid blast that bounced off of Thompson then off of Janmark then trickled over the line, Amadio answered that less than a minute later and a few minutes after than Connor got one off of a breakaway (You can't leave Connor ALONE, it's like ASKING to get scored on). Kane in for Hyman on the 1PP and he gets it done. Hyman was a scratch (not feeling well). Look, it wasn't pretty. The Oilers took TOO MANY PENALTIES (how many times have we heard that before). The PK was at 100% again. That's good. The PP 1 for 3 (not fabulous but could be worse). With Hyman out of the lineup it could have been bad. It wasn't because the boys won BUT Skinner's Goals Against went UP again (4 against). He needs to let in less by a lot than the boys score (like the 2 prior games). Yes, it's harder with elite teams like Vegas but still. Take care all.
