Losing Kakko is brutal. Now the Rangers only have Wheeler as the only natural right winger. Great chance here for Brod. He has 11 goals and 14 assist in 16 games with the Wolfpack. So he'll have some really good chances now. I wish a speedy recovery for Kakko but it's now time for Brodzinski to have a legit shot.
I was hoping Kane comes back to Rangers especially now since Kakko is out..

Mainly worried Kakko’s injury will stop or delay a potential breakout season. People scream bust too early. He’s a young player with a lot of potential but a lot of pressure on him. Maybe this break will encourage him to hopefully start producing later on. I’m sure he’ll want to make up for lost time.

I also think, people are going to see ( even though the numbers don’t show) exactly how valuable Kakko is and the things he brings/does; especially in the 2-way game. After all, when he’s on the ice the Rangers avg close to 2G/game and opponents have only scored 2 or 3 against with him there.
It’s the ice hockey nuances that people often forget and there is like our Jesper Fast of old.🤘
