This team has no heart. Matthews, Marner, Tavares, Knies back next season. They need 8 forwards that have heart and character next season. Rielly, Lilly and McCabe on the backend need 3 gritty clear the front of the net d-men. They need a new coach and captain. The leafs new captain cannot be a guy on the current roster. They are going nowhere in the playoffs, you can't receive all the hits in a series and it not take it's toll. IF they get by one round they will be so banged up they will be destroyed in the 2nd round just like last year.

Marner looked more griity after his injurry with the full cage and toe pick on the shootout whick looked good when he had the goalie at his mercy and ready to score until he toepicked which was unfortunate. But Noah Gregor is skilled where he put the puck under the bar and what wrong with Mathews with his speed not there and bring up a defenceman from the Marlies for now because it tough to get a defenceman for now because the cost could be too high unless you trade Robertson and Bertuzzi because he is not worth 5.5 million and a mid prospect to get one of calgary defenceman and trade for Tomas Hertal from the sharks whick would help the leafs in both Areas forward and defence.
