  1. he looked prettty quick on his feet at practice yesterday. the other day he was just casually sipping a beer and eating a powdered donut lol

  2. On Sprong giving up 88: Kane can have it for 13.80, so long as he doesn't demand the 20 cents back. X'D

On Kane and his desire to play in Detroit: He played in Honeybaked Triple A, and would have played at JLA a LOT. It is totally reasonable that the culture of Detroit got to him. Red Wings fans (myself included) are absolutely diehard for the team, and it's an infectious spirit. Adding DeBrincat to the list certainly does make it easier. I can definitely see Cat being a reason to go somewhere. Plus, despite only being the 10th most valuable team in the NHL right now, back in the 90's and 2000's, they were definitely the foremost franchise in the NHL. Everyone and their sons wanted to play for the Red Wings.

  3. I'm looking forward to seeing Kane play. However, I genuinely hope Kane doesn't try to do too much out there. Give it time, ease back into the swing of things, and let the other players shoulder the brunt of the workload. Time will tell, of course, but still.
