Reaves can't really fight Marchand. There's an unspoken rule that heavyweights only fight other heavyweights. It wouldn't be good optics for Reaves to knuckle out Marchand who is a welterweight at best.

There's only way to fix this. If you make a dirty hit, you are suspended for at least as long as the injured player is out. If it ends his career, it also ends yours.
