  1. Winning a game like this is a very good sign for the team. They were able to stick with it and, yes, persevere through to the end, where the results showed up on time. Honestly, it felt like they were winning the whole time, so it was just as frustrating as it was satisfying to watch. One more step up towards that .500, keep on it.

  2. i do not buy the 60-min game for any game this season, but THIS ONE !
They played for 60min and that is the result, great patience, great effort.
You create your luck – Helle should ahve saved the 1:1, but at some point, goalies are letting something in, if you take shots.

  3. It is funny, i was prepared to say "i am proud of you" even if they lost 0:1 this game.
They played hard – they never let off and with such a talented group, this is the result.

  4. I like this guy way better than Woodcroft. I wasn't a hater when they were winning but obviously Woodcroft only cared about the big guns on the ice… every loss he would change the goalie not allowing them to build any confidence even after a loss. Every players kept getting switched lines or he would overwork drai and mcd to take a 2nd shift on someone elses turn.

It worked for a year but when mcd and drai suck, we clearly seen he didn't know what to do. A lot of his success revolved around mcd and drai outscoring their problems.
The main issue was Woodcroft was way too soft and always had the same 2-3 excuses after every loss for 60 games+ over 2 seasons. To me it didn't feel like an honest coach

  5. Solid 60 minute effort. Everyone’s posture looks so much better. Shoulders aren’t slumped and the guys are smiling.
