  1. We need a video explaining ntc, and what happens if the player is traded 2 to 3 times if ntc is still intact or is a one time thing.

  2. What I'm not understanding, and, I'm a Semi-Retired Lawyer, is if he filed The 10 Team No-Trade List, how is it that They (The Teams, especially, Vegas) Able To Say They Didn't Get The List, Unless It's Secretive File, which I'd find extremely difficult to believe. Therefore, I believe that you are right, absent circumstances we don't know, since Due Diligence, as you said would require Them To Ask For The List from whatever place it's Filed With. It's The Classic They Should Have Known, correct.

  3. If it's A Due Diligence Thing, is it on Vegas or Anaheim or Both. What is even more important, that you didn't go over, is Does Dadonov have some Remedies For The Violations. I'd be thinking that there should be An NHL Action/Penalties, however, doesn't it also violate NHLPA Rules?

  4. I've always been a pretty casual fan, but I have been following things a lot more closely this year and I had no idea trades could be so complicated.

  5. Vegas hit a home run with the expansion draft, since then then they went to full on "win now, future be damned" approach.

  6. He could easily amend his contract regarding his No trade team list would think. If he goes back to Vegas that would be messed up. But you can still trade a player after the deadline just they can’t play for that team during the playoffs. I don’t know Vegas are clowns since day one and I’ve always disliked them

  7. Well, he can't go to Anaheim cause of the NTC, and Vegas doesn't deserve him, so obviously he should just go back to Ottawa

  8. Is it because he is Russian, so they can screw him over without consequences? Like they did with two other Russian players in the past.

I don’t think any Russian players want to play for a franchise like this.

  9. It’s funny that Vegas fans will tell you that their GMs were so smart they built a great team right from the start and changing the expansion draft rules didn’t make a difference. Especially after seeing how dumb they are since

  10. KARMA Vegas. Circumvent the cap and this happens. It is a great day to be alive. I hope Vegas misses the playoffs.

  11. If the NTC is in place and the Ducks are on it, then the trade is void. Vegas can't blame anyone but themselves on this. I also thought it was interesting that the VGK GM said during the presser about Dadonov that he did not even look at available goalies before the deadline. That seemed a bit weird, most GM's are looking at EVERYTHING because you never know what may occur or what beneficial options may arise.

  12. Vegas has been royally mismanaged after letting go of George McPhee. They had an amazing expansion draft and consequent first season, but then they fired their coach, traded Schmidt, traded Fleury, traded away all their good prospects, and swung hard and long on some veterans. They're a good team when on their game, but may not even make the show this year.

  13. As a Caps fan, this is just what you expect from McPhee. Not the GM, but likely has huge pull. He starts well enough and then demolishes his potential. To think, Vegas might miss this year. Hilarious.

  14. The upside of all self inflicted damage that the management of VGK has done is that maybe now Bill Foley will chop some heads of those responsible for ruining this team…Bye Pete.. buh bye George…bye bye Kelly…you reap what you sow…

  15. Vegas is a garbage organization. They don't care about their own players, and it shows. Just look at how they handled Fleury's departure, and he was the very first guy to BE a Golden Knight. I mean, shit, man. Why would anyone want to sign in Vegas after all this stuff? How do you teach a management group that obviously doesn't care about their players to care about their players?

The ONLY thing going in the opposite direction is letting Jack Eichel get the surgery he wanted, but that was the price of admission. They were not landing him unless they let him do that.

  16. Vegas has a history of screwing over players… This leads me to believe they are at fault and should be punished for this. Eichel should not be allowed to play until this is solved. They are over the cap limit and should be having draft picks removed for the next couple of drafts as punishment.

  17. Vegas started out good but management is terrible there. They will burn players and are getting a rep. Like everything else there all smoke and mirrors no substance. May be over 50 years before they win a cup. Look how long it took the Blues, Caps, Buffalo still does not have one and the Leafs are breaking new records for not winning one.

  18. How is that no trade list not part of the actual in hand contract? If the ntc line item is in the in hand contract, how is the list not stapled to the friggin paperwork when Ottawa trades him to Vegas? Asking for a friend…lols

  19. Vegas is trying to buy big, flashy seasons with big names to accompany their pregame shows. They need to be successful every season kinda thing.

  20. In many ways making the final in 2018 and not winning it was the worst case scenario for this team. Now they've been chasing that cup ever since at the cost of their long term success.

  21. Revisiting this glorious video (and the resulting "NHL Officially Cancels the Dadonov Trade with Anaheim" video) after the Vegas collapse!
