  1. Obviously, this has caused some trade rumors to swirl around these guys but I decided not to talk about it in the video simply because, at this point at least, I highly doubt anything will come from it (Thanks captain obvious lol)

  2. I never believed in Gaudreau. One-dimensional undersized dynamic winger. You can win without those guys. What you need is an elite center, stud D, good-to-great goaltending. I always thought tying up so much cap in a tiny streaky winger was a recipe for failure.

  3. JC, you sound like a virtue signaling Karen when you trip all over yourself in an effort to make sure you don't hurt anyone's precious feelings.

  4. I remember when Columbus didn't have a hockey team. I don't think they've ever had one. They thought they found easy street. Hilarious! JG could've publicly called Darrell Sutters alcoholism, as a "Leader" JG comes across as a squid, or turtle.

  5. @JohnnyHawkey I know they aren’t the most popular team but can you do some devils content. I love your videos and will continue watching regardless but I’d like to hear your opinion on some things haha… thank god our lord and savior Jack Hughes is back

  6. It takes time to get all jelled up. The management, coaching, and team constantly change, but they will pull through fine. What is the phrase…. A team first forms, then storms, then finally norms.. haha, pretty corny but can happen here. Fantilli is disgusting btw. He is so good and very classy. Happy to have him here in Columbus

  7. Rebuild? We're the 3rd youngest team. Our captain is 30. And why not mention how we hired a coach, let him resign, and loss cap space. Yarno is the problem here. He can not even start to build a team. How many years can this go on!

  8. It's already too late. Even if they get going, the season is over.
Sending more kids down (like they did Kent Johnson) would probably be a good idea.
And getting Laine going could help by trading him to a actual contender.
But hopefully someone besides the Kings and Rags.

  9. Gaudreau is a loser. He doesn’t care about winning; just about collecting his pay check and staying out of the limelight.

  10. CBJ my home team i follow jets and flames patty and johnny have to play a different game in Columbus. both are a little lost right now maybe coaching a little a problem this team needs time to develop. we have been a bottom dweller forever. problems in goal, D-Men, injuries, tons of rookies this team needs time. worst thing to happen is to go into full panic.

  11. I’d love to have Laine in Vancouver! See him line up with Pettersson and Kuzmenko— to rediscover his offensive edge.

CBJ: 1st (Likely 20th-32nd Overall) Podkolzin (Prospect), Garland (Roster Player) and Poolman (Cap Dump).

    Van: Laine, 4th.

  12. Gaudreau has been the sh!t$ since he signed in Columbus. Buyer beware with these small skilled players looking for big bucks in their late 20s and early 30s. At least when you have an older player like JT Miller signed to a long-term contract , he still can play a power forward game. If guys like Johnny and Huberdeau don't put up points, they're pretty much overpaid ankle weights on the teams payroll. I'm surprised that it didn't work out in Columbus. I thought Johnny and Laine would be a 1 2 punch, but the problem is they need a center who can dish the puck and can go get it. Laine is lazy, and Johnny is what 155 – 160 lbs soaking wet.

  13. Theres been a surprising amount of star players off to a rough start this year. Kind of hard to watch. Hope they can break out of their slumps soon.

  14. @JohnnyHawkey thank you for the Cajun content. It’s rough to see our top players like this and I agree, it was rough watching our top players abandon us in the past. Some of my darkest days as a cbj fan.

  15. Dumb coach. Why would you bench your best offensive players in such a tight game when you’re at a 6 Game Losing St. going on 7!!! And if you think going into Philadelphia is going to be easy win….think again! Flys got 4 wins in a row taking out the super stacked knights (who I still think should have never been aloud to be a team in this league).

  16. Who thought paying Johnny Hockey 🤣😂 that kind of jack and making him the centerpiece of the team was a good idea? The only reason he got on so well in Calgary was because he had Tkachuk out there with him. That’s not the case in Columbus.

  17. Gaudreau will come out of it. Laine has always been wildly overrated. He's the platonic ideal of Jonas Hoglund; he can score one type of goal, most of the work has to be done by better players on the ice, and he can't play defense. The best case scenario for him at this stage in his career, on THIS team is 25 goals and a -15 on the season. With a top-tier play-maker and a big bruising winger on the other side, he can hit 30.

  18. There is no victory in beating an opponent at their worst. You want them to be at the very peak of performance when you topple them. That is the purest form of competition.
