Saddest part is this means he’s probably gonna miss the winter classic. I’m sure that’s super disappointing for him

I have some doubts the injury came from the puck to the foot.
Might be a noncontact injury like with Burakovsky last year? Those tend to be soft tissue injuries, and soft tissue injuries tend to take a while to recover from.
