Taney is such a liability at the back end and not much benefit scoring. Screens his own goalie well which is a unique talent. Bear has proven not much better, but a bargain at 1 mill

Maybe I'm wrong but if I'm a GM I'd go the Pierre Dorian route & look more toward the future & try to get as many nhl level or almost nhl ready prospects as I can and I don't think any player over 27 would be on my list of being acquired

Feels like a breath of fresh air having management actually aggressively trying to fix issues and needs with the team. Zero issues with what they’re doing. I think fans were getting annoyed before when nothing was happening when it should have been and that’s fine, but they’re addressing it now with the new management team. If only Edmontons management cared enough about McDavid and finding him a goalie and proper defence
Tanev is from Ontario, Toronto needs defence more then we do. Not sure why he felt that way.
