We really gotta stop throwing shade on fishbowls and birdcages. Vast majority of us aren’t playing in upper leagues. Thousands in dental work cause we don’t want the stigma that comes with playing safe? Just don’t get it

I really don't think that comeback was on Woll. He has looked sharp. Defence is the problem! Put some eggs back in that basket and things should improve a bit
if we've learned anything over the last 10-20 years, it's that winning the regular seasons meaaaaans dink. half our d-core is injured right now and the boys have still been finding ways to get points. i do think we need a couple solid defenders, but the zadorov trade proves the market isn't too tough for that kind of acq. looking at lubushkin as the type of dude we could use (again). no one in leafland is sweating until april.
Goaltending? Woll has been outstanding bro he has liks a 940 save % with mostly AHL defence in front of him. He was lights out in overtime did you not see that save.
They have lost their whole d core and 23 trans have less points and the leafs have games in hand.
The leafs need to make ac trade for a couple of very solid defence and they will be a cup contender. They have more then enough talent to go on a heater and win a cup. They just need some big mean defence core that will dummy you on rush plays and can pass the puck and move it to our offence so they can actually utilize their skill properly because one of the biggest problems is getting out of our zone.
I normally agree with you, but what goalie issue do they have? Woll has been great, Ilya definitely isn’t the best, but Woll has been solid. Their defense is trash though so you’re right with that
As far as their D core goes, a big problem is that no other teams want to work with the Leafs simply because it's the Leafs. The Flames ask for Zadorov would have been double of what it was for Vancouver if it was Treliving asking.

It's the D. You can't expect the Leafs to score 5 every night, they have to start allowing less than 4 a night. Only 5 reg wins?? Doesn't bode well for the playoffs. They've got time, but they have to fix the D.

One player isn't going to fix their problems, that's the problem. I liked what Dubas did last year at the deadline and before with mixing up the bottom 6 and adding a few new D, sadly most of those players left in the off season though. Even adding O'Reilly was smart, a solid 2-way player who can play with a 1 goal lead. They either need their core guys to finally put the pieces together and learn their lesson, or they have to change the coach because you aren't going to fix this by trading for 1 D unless you have a time machine and can get Lidstrom in his prime.
Sorry guys but Marner played well because of Tavares.Tavares leads the NHL in puck battles and always draws 2 people when he battles for the puck then it makes room for everyone else when he wins the battle.

Rockstars don't let bottom feeder teams come back from a 3-1 lead. They can't hold a lead against anyone and can't put in a full effort for 60 minutes.
I've been a leafs fan since I was born and I hate this team more than the Phaneuf leafs. Nicest guys in the NHL. They're soft and they will never go deep in the playoffs with such a wimpy and streaky core of players. 2 of the core 4 need to go. We need a real goalie(might be Woll), and we need a legit top pairing defenseman. But it won't matter even if we get them because after 2 years they will walk or be traded cause we feel the need to pay 4 absolute wimps more than half the salary cap.
Marner is a playmaker first but dude has scored 30+ the last two seasons and was probably the Leafs best all round player last season. People are quick to forget that and pile on. Dude is a rockstar as long as he's not in his own head.
