  1. This changes nothing. We all know Kane has a no trade clause so he's playing for the Red Wings this season, and can go wherever he wants after not just Toronto. The Maple Leafs may be begging for him to help them, but the Red Wings have 1st option. It's laughable you pretend he'll be traded before he plays a game for the Red Wings. By the way, Toronto may have the hall of fame but they are not the center of the NHL universe. Hockytown is!! LGRW!!!!!

  2. So if he fails to do it in Detroit.. pay a 1st and bring him to toronto🤪 But i do appreciate the content 👌

  3. There's a whole lot of ifs and buts in there. Could it happen? Sure it could. However, now that their biggest story has died down, the media has to say something, right? So of course they come up with a scenario where the Leafs somehow manage to get Kane anyway.

  4. WTf. This is pure clickbait. Unsubbed. Sick of this effeminate rumour-mongering voice. The teams are even in the standings. Why the hell would you assume the Leafs are buyers and the Wings are sellers at the deadline?

  5. Toronto Maple Leaf rumors. That never happens. How about Toronto throws in Nylander and a number one draft pick, for Kane? Rumors are you wanted Nylander traded. Make it so!

    Maple Leaf media!

  6. I don’t think they’re going into this with the thought of flipping Kane. I think it’s legitimately bringing in
Kane for a Playoff push. That said…Toronto saying…”well, what we REALLY need is defense and goaltending, so let’s bring in Kane…a defensive black hole” is the most on-brand thing EVER for the Leafs.

  7. Lmao a 1st for a 35 +'winger fresh off of hip surgery. A surgery in which many players have had and retired. If he can't help the wings get into the playoffs. How's he gonna help the Leafs win in the post season. Sorry but a 1st is a massive overpay at this stage of his career.

  8. For everyone saying Kane has a no trade clause, players can waive that. The article is talking about how there is an agreement between the Wings and Kane’s agent that if the team is out of the playoffs at the TDL then the Wings are willing to do Kane a solid and trade him somewhere else and get something back. Win-win for both sides.

  9. LOL if Kane wanted Toronto, He would've signed with Toronto. If Kane is dealt if Detroit is out of the playoffs running at the TDL. Then i see Kane waiving for an American team like Florida, Tampa Dallas or Colorado he's not going to Toronto.

  10. Typical toronto media. "We didnt get Kane so lets start making rumours about trading for Kane".
Detroit will be in the playoff hunt come trade deadline so just ignore these articles

  11. Man I luv it , nobody in the media wants the rise of the GREAT REDWINGS again and r now putting out garbage reports like this , Yzerman already has said if Kane is successful with the Redwings they will b resigning him lol , waste of a video really lol

  12. Let's see if the guy can still even play before we start making proposed trades… not many players make a real come back from this procedure.. nik Backstrom tried and lasted less than 10 games

  13. This is all one big pile of nonsense media talk. If Kane is worth trading at the deadline, hes probably made the team better, and its way less likely theyre sellers anytime soon
