Connor Bedard totally SNAPPED from this

Connor Bedard released his frustration on multiple plays in this game against the Detroit Red Wings as the Chicago Blackhawks lost 5-1 and this video talks more about it. #hockey #nhl #connorbedard

  1. Emotions. As a long time minor hockey coach, every time I see a sad sack NHLr smash a stick in frustration I loose respect for that person.
Do you have any Ideal how many young hockey players will do that the next game after seeing this boy in mens clothing acting out.
That should be a penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct. To put a stop to such displays.
Time to be a big boy Connor and understand millions of kids are watching your every move.

  2. I doubt Bedard ever thought "I hope I get drafted to a team that has dropped most of its assets, is clouded in controversy and expects me to carry the weight of multiple superstars. Then spending every available moment speaking to the relentless media reporters asking the same questions and expecting new creative answers how I can solve things"… I don't care if he breaks every stick in the arena, let him vent

  3. kids trying to fill shoes that arnt there anymore besides the media up his ass every minute in time he’ll be a complete player! 🤷‍♂️🤔👍

  4. The team needs to sit him down. They can’t have him being selfish and breaking his hand in the bench after being frustrated.

  5. #90 just gliding casually when Bedard clearly was on his way to the puck with only one option – to get it down below the goal line again, or risk being pinched from the back.

  6. He seems to be mad at himself and himself only. He was pissed cause he turned the puck over to give the wings a short handed opportunity and failed to capitalize later in the game on a good look he created for himself. Young man is holding himself accountable and is his own toughest critic. I’d rather see passion fueled rage than indifference and lethargy. He’s gonna be alright

  7. The drafting system anchors these stars down. Being forced to get drafted into a bottom of the barrel team. Not to mention losing T Hall and mindless defense. Bedard is alone. If this kid was on Detroit for example, he could easily be leading the league in points, he just lacks the support.

  8. Key thing here: he's only mad at himself. He's not yelling at teammates or coaches. He just wants to be the best at everything

  9. If that's my teammate I don't mind it. So he cares too much? He's pissed at himself he's not yelling at his teammates. I'd take caring too much over not enough every single day. As losing as he's not taking it out on his team.

  10. For as much as people say McDavid didn't have talant to play with, Bedard is far more stranded and plays a role (sniper) which is more reliant on needing talant around. Kids gunna have a super rough, at least first half of his career. Generational talants tend to go to teams that are already rebuilding, and have draftees in the pipeline. Chicago's a wasteland of young talant since they were gifted the 1oa the first year of their rebuild. Hopefully they can be bad enough the next 3 or so years to actually draft some future talant so he doesn't get exhausted from having to carry a bunch of waning vets and overachieving plugs.

  11. I'm just saying that it is a shame that they don't bag your groceries anymore when you go to the store, then maybe some of you trolls would have a job and something more important to do.

  12. He's making some great passes, once he gets a couple top set up men he'll be lighting the lamp, his shot and release are deadly, but until he gets the puck in the slot often, it'll be more of these games
